Complex Acoustic Environments DSP Column Speaker

The Gradient Beam DSP Column Speaker is developed through extensive research into room acoustics and the behavior of sound wave propagation in both vertical and horizontal planes. By integrating physical directional waveguides, it suppresses unwanted side lobes and achieves precise directivity.

In the horizontal direction, the speaker employs a combination of acoustic design and DSP processing to generate three independent directional beams with different radiation angles, covering near-field, mid-field, and far-field zones. Each beam offers adjustable sound pressure intensity, while the near-field beam can be DSP-controlled for flexible horizontal directivity—delivering sound exactly where it is needed.

In the vertical direction, advanced asymmetric radiation is achieved through DSP-driven gradual delay processing, combined with a specially engineered acoustic structure. This creates a downward radiation angle while significantly reducing upward emissions, thereby minimizing ceiling reflections, enhancing spatial sound uniformity, and improving clarity. The design provides stronger direct sound, eliminates blind spots, and delivers excellent speech intelligibility even in reverberant environments.

With its innovative beam control, elegant slim enclosure, and powerful DSP functions, this column speaker is ideally suited for use in:

  • Command centers

  • Lecture halls

  • Religious venues

  • Airports & train stations

  • Lobbies & exhibition centers

  • Museums and other public spaces

Product features

Directional Waveguide Technology: Suppresses unnecessary side lobes and ensures accurate directivity.

Horizontal Gradient Beam Control: Three adjustable beams provide optimal coverage:

Near field: 160° wide coverage

Mid field: 100° balanced coverage

Far field: 60° narrow beam for long-range projection
(Narrower beams project farther; wider beams provide broader but shorter coverage.)

DSP-Controlled Near-Field Adjustment: Targeted horizontal coverage reduces wall reflections and reverberation, enhancing clarity.

Asymmetric Vertical Radiation: DSP-based gradual delay with acoustic structure ensures downward projection, uniform coverage, reduced ceiling reflections, and clear direct sound without tilting the speaker.

Dante Network Audio Input: Compatible with mainstream network protocols.

Flexible Input Options: Supports analog, digital, and mixed signal inputs.

Network Management: Direct connection to a switch allows full device management and configuration.

Comprehensive DSP Processing: Beam control, 7-band EQ, filters, level control, mute, presets (save/recall), system setup via intuitive software.

Built-in High-Stability Digital Amplifier: Multi-channel Class D design with high efficiency and protection.

High-Quality Drivers: 4 × 3.5" full-range drivers for mid/far field, 4 × 2" full-range drivers for near field; precise coupling ensures clear and transparent sound.

Elegant Slim Design: Wooden cabinet in black or white, blending seamlessly into modern architectural spaces.
